In order to understand the field of Vocational Rehabilitation today, it is important to have a historical understanding of how we got here. This three-credit course will give us an overview of some of the historical milestones that led us to where we are today.

  • Examine the impact of the civil rights movement in defining disability rights today.
  • Review legislation that has historically shaped Vocational Rehabilitation services.
